  • Beth Grosshans, a dedicated child psychologist, has made it her mission to empower parents to master essential life skills for their children, including self-control, respect, cooperation, independent sleeping, and healthy eating habits. In an industry where many parents often feel adrift and uncertain about how best to support their children, She brings a caring and professional touch to provide families with the strategies and answers they need to conquer these challenges.

Her journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Cincinnati. Eager to expand her knowledge and expertise, she pursued higher education at Ohio State University, ultimately earning a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology. Her academic foundation was further fortified during an internship at prestigious institutions like Boston Children's Hospital and Judge Baker's Children's Center psychiatric inpatient unit. Here, she seamlessly transitioned her academic skills into a professional setting, gaining invaluable knowledge from some of the brightest minds at Harvard Medical School.

In 1994, Beth took a significant step by establishing her private practice. During this phase of her career, she uncovered a profound trend – Imbalanced Family Power (IFP). She observed that when children hold more power than their parents, it often leads to emotional and behavioural disorders, a persistent and destructive dynamic within family relationships. To address this issue, she crafted a highly effective five-step strategy called "The Ladder to Effectiveness." This strategy has proven transformative in helping parents regain their rightful familial power and leadership, restoring harmony and health to their relationships.

Beyond her clinical work, her passion for education extended far and wide. She dedicated over 15 years to teaching child development at the Princeton Center for Teacher Education. Her profound experiences and knowledge were shared with Montessori educators nationwide, significantly influencing the next generation of caregivers and educators.

Grosshans's commitment to education didn't stop there. For more than two decades, she provided proven parenting approaches to schools nationwide while also serving as a consultant for schools and treatment facilities. In this role, she crafted individualized treatment plans for fellow mental health professionals, further cementing her impact on the field.
